One console for a school district.

CampusSteward puts a district's academics, student services, operations and family portals in one place, with each person seeing what their role and site allow.

What it covers

  • Academics

Gradebook and courses, attendance and tardies, report cards and transcripts, and the master schedule.

  • Student services

Discipline, counseling, the health office, field trips, the library and the front office.

  • Operations

IT help desk and assets, facilities work orders, transportation, digital signage, purchasing and approvals.

  • Portals

A teacher portal, and parent and student portals for grades, attendance, assignments and messages from the school.

How it handles data

  • FERPA school-official terms

The Terms of Service and the Student Data Addendum make CampusSteward a FERPA school official under the district's direct control, using student data only for the district's purposes.

  • Authenticator-app 2FA a district can require

Two-factor sign-in uses an authenticator app (TOTP), set up under Account → Security. A district can require it, and once someone has enrolled, signing in asks for the code unless they have marked that device as trusted.

  • Google sign-in

Staff and families can sign in with their district Google account or with an email and password.

  • Published subprocessor list

Every outside service that can receive personal data is listed with what it receives and when. The list is generated from the code that makes the calls.
